How to deal with the mechanical vibration noise source of stainless steel pneumatic ball valve?

2023-04-11
Stainless steel pneumatic ball valves typically employ cylinder wall-shaped spools, the cylinder sides of the spool enter the casting or turning flow port. This type of cylindrical roller is guided in the flow of the valve body. The gap between the cylindrical side flange and the valve body is large, so that the structure is sensitive to vibration. When the direction of the side is changed to a rod of the rod or both ends, the vibration will be improved.
The rod of the spool is fixed to the valve cover of the valve cover and the valve body. For valves that cannot be used, a further improvement method is to increase the diameter of the guide rod and reduce the gap as much as possible. At present, the standard of stainless steel pneumatic ball valves is more or less characteristic with sleeve orientation. In this configuration, the sleeve member comprising a circulating element is fixed to the valve body, and the core of detachable flap is tightly guided its inner diameter.

Due to the design results of the valve, the vibration problem caused by the lateral motion of the spool is lowered to the minimum. The secondary mechanical vibration noise source is the resonance of the inherent frequency in the valve group. The vibration of the resonant valve assembly produces a single sound with a frequency of 3000--7000 Hz. This vibration generates high energy stress, resulting in fatigue damage of vibration parts.
